Lock Down - What Your Business Can Expect from Cargohouse…

Dear Valued Customer and Partner: Effective March 20, 2020, the City of Los Angeles and the State of California has issued a "Lock Down" Ordinance where only essential businesses are permitted to operate.   All other businesses must either cease or operate in "Lock Down" mode. We at Cargohouse have initiated the following plans to ensure that we continue to operate ~ albeit not business as "usual" - nonetheless, business as necessary. First, we must be in compliance with local, state and federal mandates in regards to any ordinances and/or regulations enacted.  As a facilitator of global trade, what we do is essential to the well being of supply chain logistics.  Nonetheless, to have the privilege to continue our operations, we must ensure the safety of both our team as well as the general public.   We have already implemented the recommended practices by the CDC and WHO to counter the spread of CoVID-19: *All staff must be temperature scanned prior to check in. *All staff are provided with masks and gloves when applicable for the tasks at hand.  All sanitation materials (ie, 60~70% alcohol based sanitizers, anti-bacteria soap, disinfectant wipes, etc..) are stocked and readily available for our teams. *No visitor policy (since March 1st).  Truckers are exempted and not permitted access to office nor outside warehouse loading zones.  Truckers are also requested to be temperature scanned prior to service at the check-in window. *All staff are repositioned in work areas at least 6 feet apart from other team members. *All staff are encouraged to bring lunch and avoid outside dining (except for Drive-Thrus). Second, the following is what your business can expect from us: *All trucking and drayage services from the ports will continue to operate. *Warehouse services will be limited to order processing and receiving (including standard transloads and in/out orders).  Inventory optimization and cycle counts will be limited and conducted whenever capacity permits.      *Distribution services are operational for accounts deemed essential businesses - ie, dry foods, office supplies, computers & accessories support, sanitation goods, etc... *E-commerce drop ships (including but not limited to order processing, tracking uploads, ASNs) will be prioritized for essential goods and limited for all other accounts.  We will update further status as the situation with the Lock Down evolves. *Customer service phone support will be limited due to personnel rotations and where remote access is permitted.   Emails are always accepted and will be replied accordingly. We are certain that we will survive this volatile period as we  remain committed to ensure the flow of trade for your business. Furthermore, we have also secured support from our banking institutions to ensure that our companies are financially viable and remain strong to operate under what we can expect to be the new norm for businesses.  Please feel free to contact us should you have any question(s) and we thank you for your continued support! Sincerely, Management Cargohouse T: (310) 631-1881 www.cargo-house.com
